Security Overview

Is it secure?

presents permitted end-users ("Requesters") with simple, Domino-based forms to fill in. Optionally, other users ("Authorisers") would have to accept these changes. The request is then passed to a back-end processor, which:

  • Validates that the request is allowed
  • Validates the request security
  • Performs various anti-spoofing checks
  • Performs checks to ensure that this request will not cause problems
  • Performs the request
  • Informs the Requesters and Authorisers of the change.

Not only does it enhance security, but:

  • it vastly reduces the number of people who require editor access to your Domino Directories
  • locks away critical certifers into a secure, encrypted respository that only super-administrators and the FirM processing server has access to. These ID's are encrypted using Lotus Notes encryption keys that you define during installation to guarantee that your business critical information is secure.
