At this point, the request processor examines all of the request profiles (as set up by the administrator) and establishes which profiles this particular user is allowed to see. In this case (for demonstration purposes), the user is allowed to see most of the request types:

Choose the request type

The user clicks on "User Create" and clicks the forward button. He is then prompted for the first set of details for this transaction

Enter the users name

When the user types in a name and hits "forward", a number of checks are performed - checking to see if the name contents match your site policy and checking that the name is unique in terms of your environment.

Confirm where the ID and password is to be sent

This screen is set by the administrator to dictate how the user ID and password distribution is achieved. In this case, the administrator chose to send the password and NotesID file via encrypted mail to the user making the request. Other options - such as mailing to mandatory addresses, or prompting for addresses at run time are available

Confirm that you want to proceed.

Every transaction finishes with a confirmation - showing the user what has been selected, and confirming that they wish to proceed. Clicking on the submit button then saves this transaction to be automatically processed by the Request processing engine. Typically, the user is created and the ID files mailed out within 10 minutes (depending on replication topology).
